Questions we hear most.
How is sound masking different from white noise?
White noise sounds like static and is annoying. Sound masking uses a specifically shaped spectrum (roughly 500–2500 Hz) tuned to the frequency range of human speech. Properly tuned, it fades into the background and most occupants forget it's there within a day.
Will the sound masking be loud or distracting?
No — correctly installed, it's around 45 dBA, which is quieter than typical office HVAC. The goal is reducing speech intelligibility from one workstation to the next, not drowning out the room.
Can we install sound masking without a drop ceiling?
Yes. Open-plenum and exposed-ceiling installations are common. We use pendant emitters or suspension-rod mounts tuned specifically for open-air dispersion patterns.
Other systems we install.
Most commercial projects bundle multiple low-voltage systems. We handle all seven under one licensed crew — so the cabling closet, Wi-Fi, cameras, and access control get designed and installed together instead of stitched after the fact.
